Haiti Mission Trip Scholarship for Residents & Medical Students

The Haiti Mission Trip Scholarship is made possible by donations from the Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians membership. This $1,000 scholarship will be presented to one (1) resident or student at the Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians DeRoin Memorial Luncheon on Saturday, March 30, 2019, in conjunction with the 71st Annual Meeting and Scientific Assembly at the Embassy Suites La Vista Hotel & Conference Center. The winner will be selected by the Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians Foundation scholarship selection committee and must be present to accept the award.

Criteria:
1) NAFP member
2) Resident in Nebraska Family Medicine Program OR Nebraska medical student who has a very strong interest in Family Medicine
3) Letter of recommendation from faculty of residency program or medical school
4) Able to participate in the Haiti medical mission trip in either the immediate spring (April 2019) or fall (November 2019) following the scholarship award.

Are you able to attend the DeRoin Luncheon (where this award will be given) on March 30, 2019? Preference may be given to those who are able to accept the award during the DeRoin Luncheon.
