ICD-10: "Road to 10" Resource for Small Practices
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has released the the "Road to 10" toolkit designed specifically to assist small practices with the transition to ICD-10. The "Road to 10" toolkit is an online resource that was developed with the assistance of providers in small practices and is intended to help small medical practices jumpstart their ICD-10 transition.
The "Road to 10" toolkit gives providers the capability to develop and build action plans that are customized for the needs of their individual practice. The action plans can be built from whatever stage the practice is at in their transition to ICD-10.
The toolkit may be accessed on the CMS website at http://www.roadto10.org/. For other ICD-10 practice tools visit the Practice Support section http://www.nebrafp.org/practice_support/icd_10.html.
