CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
The Public Affairs Committee is seeking nominations for the 2008 Nebraska Family Physician of the Year. The purpose is to honor a physician who exemplifies, in the tradition of family medicine, a compassionate commitment to improving the health and well being of the people and communities throughout Nebraska.
The Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians is pleased to announce the selection of Kathleen A. Bliese, M.D. as the 2007 Nebraska Family Physician of the Year
The Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians is proud to have Dr. Kathleen Bliese represent the specialty of Family Medicine as the 2007 Nebraska Family Physician of the Year.
Dr. Bliese, a board certified physician, has been a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians/Nebraska Chapter since 1976 and was awarded the AAFP Degree of Fellow in 1988. She has held all offices within the Nebraska Academy and has served on every committee except Membership Services.
Dr. Bliese has also served as President, Treasurer and Trustee of the NAFP Foundation.
In addition to caring for her patients, Dr. Bliese is Medical Director and Practice Administrator in Grand Island, NE.
We congratulate Dr. Bliese on her many accomplishments and recognize her as the 2007 Nebraska Family Physician of the Year!
