The Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians employs a lobbyist who represents the interests of family practice within the state legislature.
The American Academy lobbies all levels of government and payors to work for fair reimbursement for family physicians. The Academy also works to reduce paperwork and regulations associated with practicing family physicians.
