The Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians is honored to invite medical students and residents to display their research posters at the Nebraska Academy Annual Scientific Assembly on Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Embassy Suites La Vista Conference Center. This invitation extends to any medical student or resident interested in sharing their research, regardless if their research advisor is a Family Physician. We hope our Annual Scientific Assembly will provide an opportunity for intellectual collaboration and collegial interaction between residents, medical students and practicing physicians. Residents from Nebraska residency programs, and medical students enrolled in an accredited Nebraska medical school on January 1, 2021 are eligible to submit a research poster proposal to be considered for display at the Scientific Assembly. The NAFP will be continually monitoring the local COVID-19 numbers to make sure this is a safe format and if deemed unsafe this event will become an all virtual event.
For students & residents whose programs are not allowing travel at this time, please contact Kim Palmer at the NAFP office (e-mail, 402-505-9198) and a virtual poster presentation format can be offered. Your poster will be displayed in PDF format on the meeting website with your e-mail available to those who would like to contact you. PDF’s of posters should be sent no later than March 10th, 2021. More details will be confirmed about this format as soon as we have a sense of the numbers of participants virtually.
The DEADLINE FOR POSTER PROPOSALS to be submitted is February 28, 2021.
Please complete the information below to submit your poster proposal for consideration. The NAFP office will notify you by email upon approval of your proposal.
