The NAFP Foundation is proud to help support the Future of Family Medicine. There are four pillars identified by the NAFP Foundation to support the Future of Family Medicine: Advocacy & Public Relations, Leadership Development, Practice Support & Continuing Medical Education and Scholarships & Grants. As part of these efforts, the Foundation provides yearly stipends to support students and residents to attend National Conference. In addition, one resident and student are selected to serve as delegates from Nebraska at the AAFP National Conference for Students & Residents. This stipend provides the delegates up to $500.00 to attend the meeting and represent their Nebraska constituents.
This years representatives were Erika Rothgeb, MD (Resident at Clarkson) and Brett Weum (Creighton Student). They both came back from the conference with unique experiences to share. Thank you for representing the NAFP and your fellow Nebraska constituents!
